COCALERO X RESIDENT EVIL: INFINITE DARKNESS

The challenge

Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.

The Approach

Epic Global knows just how passionate Resident Evil fans are which is why we teamed up with over 50 European micro influencers across multiple channels to send them a very special gift to celebrate the release. The gift contained the limited edition bottling, along with a glass and special tshirt all within a Resident Evil themed box. 


In return, we asked creators to do an unboxing on their social channels, running a small competition between them to see who could output the best content. This resulted in amazing content from the creators featuring gameplay, cosplays, cocktail making and much more! 

Alongside the influencer campaign, we also ran social content which targeted fans of the series across Europe in addition to localised PR.

The results

With just the gifting and no influencer spending, we managed to engage with over 50 influencers with a combined reach of over 350,000. We got some fantastic content from the influencers which was shared across all the Cocalero social channels along with the targeted social content. 

Sentiment around the brand and campaign was 100% positive and we exceeded our sign-up KPI by over 25%.
